Download LooperPro for macOS

LooperPro 1.0 for Apple silicon and Intel Macs with macOS 14.6 or later. It shows a looping animation of you in Zoom, Google Meet, FaceTime and other video apps while you step away from a call.

Installer package, 2 MB. Signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple. LooperPro needs an account to make a loop. LookingPro, which renders a photorealistic proxy, is available by enquiry.

Install in three steps

The installer is a standard macOS installer package. Nothing else needs to be installed first.

Step 1

Download

On a Mac the download starts by itself when you open this page. If it does not, use the Download for macOS button. Your browser saves LooperPro-mac-signed.pkg, usually in your Downloads folder.

Step 2

Open LooperPro-mac-signed.pkg and follow the installer

Double-click LooperPro-mac-signed.pkg and follow the steps in the installer. It installs LooperPro in your Applications folder. macOS may ask for your administrator password.

Step 3

Open LooperPro and allow the camera extension

Open LooperPro from your Applications folder. Its setup guide asks you to sign in or create an account, to allow camera access and to set up the virtual camera, which macOS asks you to allow in System Settings. If the setup guide shows Install Virtual Camera, click it, then allow the extension in System Settings.

Allowing the camera extension

LooperPro adds a camera named LookingPro through a camera extension inside the application. The camera carries the LookingPro name because LooperPro shares it with our LookingPro application. macOS asks you to allow the extension the first time, and may ask again after you install a newer version of LooperPro:

  • macOS 15 or later: in System Settings > General > Login Items & Extensions, click the info button next to Camera Extensions and turn on LooperPro.
  • macOS 14: in System Settings > Privacy & Security, click Allow next to the message about LooperPro.

macOS may ask for your password. The Open System Settings button in the setup guide takes you to the right place. The camera extension is set up only while LooperPro runs from the Applications folder.

Choosing the camera in your call

In Zoom, Google Meet or FaceTime, choose the camera named LookingPro. If it is not in the list, quit and reopen that application: video applications look for cameras when they start.

Starting and stopping a loop

Click ∞ in LooperPro. It takes a snapshot of you and animates it into a looping video, usually within 30 seconds, and your call sees the loop. Click ∞ again to go back to your live camera.

Keep LooperPro open while you are on a call.
